On June 8th 2014 - our very own Shakedown Crew had the fantastic opportunity to perform to members of the public in the Centre of Truro - Lemon Quay and all for a fantastic cause to raise money for Tanya's Courage Trust!!

Purple Fest is an event held regularly all over the county, to raise awareness of Cancer and to help raise money towards the Charity - Tanya's Courage Trust.

We are priveledged to regularly be a part of Purple Fest, performing and holding workshops. This time our Shakedown Crew shook up the croud with their old and new crew routines, giving them a chance to get out there into the public eye - and build on confidence and experience to help them with any performances and event in the future!

You guys did an amazing job and the crouds loved it!! Well done Shakedown Crew!!! :)

We have had an absolute blast at the Royal Cornwall Show this year!

Allmost 30 dancers from Cornwall Dance School came along to the Dance Festival at the Royal Cornwall Show, on Friday 6th of June! And we had an absolute blast performing numerous routines and singing songs to the public, aswel as enjoying a few of the cultural events during the day!

Shakedown Crew, Falmouth Contemporary, Truro school Commercial Class, IDTA Freestyle Truro Class Students, Porthleven Streetdancers and Trixters and our Adult Contemporary dancers aswel as singer Bethany all had the chance to show off on the stage performing all styles of dance from Breakdance to Contemporary.

We even had to fill in for other groups throughout the day so ended up doing a little extra! It was a fanastic opportunity for our students to show off what they have learnt and achieved over the last term and a great opportunity to build confidence, make friends and have a fanastic day taking in all of the different cultural events happening at the Royal Cornwall Show!
