Cornwall Dance School had a fantastic time attending both the Truro and Perranporth Carnival this year! 

Students got the chance to dress up once more and go Wonderland Crazy singing and dancing on the floats and streets of the city and town, and we had an absolute blast. Showing everyone just how much fun our students have together and just what we can do when we all work together. 

And what great results they achieved!! Wow! 

At Truro Carnival we managed to win all 5 out of 7 awards!!!! 

We gained Best Float, Best Musical Float, Best Group, Best Child (Jack Gibbon) and Best Dance Group!! 

At Perranporth we gained Best Overall Musical Group 2015!! 

Woohoo!! Our students are absolutely amazing and we love doing these sort of events. It gives them the best experience and confidence boosters possible by getting them to perform live to huge audiences with their friends and in front of family!

After amazing results at the UDO Qualifier in Exeter in April, where SHAKEDOWN CREW achieved 2nd place and a place in the World Finals at Glasgow (as publicised on Spotlight and in the Cornish Guardian) our students once again blasted their way through the SHINE Competition in Torquay this year.

What great result's for all of our Streetdancers who attended the SHINE Competition in Torquay this JULY 2015. 

Not only did all teams get placed at the competition, alongside getting fantastic experience in professional workshops and showcases throughout the weekend. But we had our student Ellie Swann achieve 1st place in Solo's, we had another Soloist Shenna achieve 3rd Place in Solo's and we also had our Duo Ellie Swann and Lydon Jackson achieve 3rd place in Duo's. 

Wow guys, well done to you all for achieving these fantastic results. Myself (Lisa McNally) and Adele Green couldn't be more proud of you all!! 

Keep working hard and acheiving these great results that you all deserve!! We cannot wait for the next competition!
