Truro and Perranporth Carnivals
Posted on
Cornwall Dancers had a great time showing off their moves on our float in the Truro Carnival this year! We were proud to see them all enjoying the entire experience and building their confidence performing for the crouds. Boogying away to the samba and other bands involved, our students performed from Hendra to Lemon Quay! Well done guys!
A huge thank you for Toni from Metal on the Move for inviting us along to Truro Carnival, and for sponsering our Float this year! We were voted 2nd best float in the Carnival!
Well done to Cornwall dancers and Daz!! Thank you to everyone who voted, we can't wait to take part next year!!
Cornwall Dance Students also had an amazing day performing in the Perranporth Carnival!
A mix of students from our Contemporary and Streetdance Classes came along for a day of dance and fun! Starting with a rehearsal at Carrick, which was then followed by a swim in the sea! We then stopped for a barbeque at Perranporth with thanks to the Drohan family for having us all at their lovely House and Garden and finally got ready to take part in the competition and march through the town! Showing off their new routines they all had a blast at the Carnival and we once again picked up an award for 2nd Best Commercial Float! Many thanks to all of the team and to JD Heating for inviting us!
Dancers did several different performances throughout the carnivals this year including some intense dance battles!! We are very proud of them all, well done guys!!
